Our Services

Elderly Comfort Care, LLC:

At Elderly Comfort Care we provide comprehensive services that encompass the basic care needs of our residents. Our services are designed to ensure the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of our residents while promoting independence and maintaining their quality of life.

Our "plan of care," "care plan," or "service plan" includes the following basic services:

  1. Care and supervision as defined in Health and Safety Code 1569.2, with the exception of one-on-one care.

  2. Monitoring and observing our residents for changes in physical, mental, emotional, and social functioning.

  3. Notification to the resident's family, physician, and other appropriate persons or agencies of any changes in their care needs.

  4. Nutritious meals, including three meals per day and between-meal snacks, as well as special diets prescribed by a physician.

  5. Assistance with gaining access to supportive services such as medical, dental, other healthcare services, transportation, recreational, leisure activities, social and counseling services.

  6. Assistance with arranging transportation to and from medical and dental appointments.

  7. A planned activity program that utilizes available community resources such as libraries, community centers, and senior centers.

  8. Assistance with personal activities of daily living, including dressing, eating, toileting, bathing, grooming, mobility, and other personal care needs such as housework, meals, laundry, taking of medication, appropriate transportation, correspondence, telephoning, and related tasks.

  9. Basic hygiene items such as general use soap and toilet paper.

  10. Safe, clean, sanitary, and healthful living accommodations.

  11. Laundering of personal clothing and general laundry service, excluding dry cleaning.

  12. Clean bed and bath linens provided weekly or as needed.

  13. Weekly cleaning of the resident's room.

  14. Comfortable and suitable bed and bedroom furniture. Bed and bedding from outside the facility are not allowed, but exceptions can be made with proof of fumigation or treatment.

  15. Assistance with necessary medical and dental needs, including Arranging transportation to appointments.

  16. Bedside care and tray service for minor temporary illnesses or recovery from surgery. Tray service during the temporary illness or recovery from surgery is provided without charge for two days, after which a fee applies.

  17. Access to the facility phone for local calls. Residents are encouraged to use prepaid phone cards or cell phones for long-distance calls.

  18. The use of gloves by our staff when caring for residents to practice universal precautions.
